What does S/O mean in posts?  I have tried to google it, but I can't find anything that makes sense.

Depends on the context.  I usually read it in post titles "S/O blah blah" to be "speaking of."

Or it could mean significant other.

Take what she said over what I said..."speaking of" makes more sense.
