Not new but first post!!!

My name is Megan and I am a first time mother to a 5 month old baby girl. Her name is Cecilia, but we call her Cecy. I signed up for this site when I was still pregnant but I never really got on it because I already had a fav forum site that I was on. I have decided to broaden my horizons and try another site. So here I am. I am a young first time mother but I think that I am very mature for my age, I have been told this by many people also. My daughter is the most important person in my life right along with my future husband, who I will be getting married to next month. I had a really rough pregnancy with be having morning sickness up until my 32nd week, then with the ultrasound people telling me at my 20week ultrasound that my child (didn't know the sex at the time) had a cyst on her brain and that it could possibly be trisomy 18. During my 23rd week I got another ultrasound and was told the cyst was gone...thankfully but only after 3 weeks of balling my eyes out and praying that my child would be ok. Now my child is 5 months and she is a great baby with nothing really wrong with her other then the fac that she has really bad acid reflux. And thats part of my life right now. Just wanted to introduce myself and tell a little about me and my family.

Hi and Welcome! Sounds like you had a rough time with your pregnancy. Glad to know everything is ok. My DS had reflux something awful. Matter of fact, he's got a feeding tube and they did surgery last month called a fundo wrap to help "fix" or control the reflux. Anyway, if you ever have questions or whatever- I've now got a lot of knowledge now about reflux and all the meds and treatments out there. Hopefully she'll grow out of it really soon. I hear it usually gets much better at 6 months.
