help finding a midwife

I just received a call from my OB's office that the midwife I have seen for many years now has resigned.  Her name is Patti West and she is wonderful.  Another CNM she worked with, Kara Winkler, also is leaving,  I am trying to figure out where they might have went.  If any of your ob offices may have them in their practice now, I would love to know so I can follow her to her new practice.  She cared for me during my son's pregnancy and birth and now I am pregnant again, and would like someone I know and trust.  Thanks for any help you may have!

At least you got called!  I am 31 weeks pregnant and found out at my appt yesterday that ALL of their midwives are leaving.  I have seen Julie for both of my pregnancies (as well as my annual appts for almost 10 years now).  Anyway, they are all resigning effective next Friday, the 21st.  Julie told me she, Karam and Patti are going to a new practice, Contemporary Women's Care, at St. Joe's.  They will be there in 2 weeks.  She told me they will be working with a Dr. Sneed.  I tired to find it by googling last night and didnt come up with much.  Julie had told me to google them in 2 weeks because she didn't know the phone number yet.  I can't decide if I should make the switch over there in 2 weeks or stick it out with WHCG for the rest of the pregnancy and then go switch to Julie's new practice later.  Very frustrating to have this happen at the ned of my pregnancy.  They will also only deliver at St. Joe's now as well, so that's something I have to look in to.  I hope this helps you find them!
