Can you use expired Similac coupons?

I went to BRU on Sat, apparently, two of my coupons expired last Thurs. and the cashier wouldn't let me use it.  Can you use expired coupons?  TIA!

Target lets me use the expired ones--at least my local Target does!  They also honor other formula checks (Enfamil, Good Start).  I don't know if every location does this though.

I used an expired similac check at the grocery store.  I think because 1. they never look at them and 2. they run them as checks and don't have to scan them.  When you scan an expired coupon the computer says expired I believe.  If it's a check i would try elsewhere.
