mine said IF my cervix is favorable at 40 weeks she will offer the induction. ?Other than that, we will just monitor me and the baby and it is up to me. She is very patient.
Of course, I told her that my sister went to 43 weeks and her eyes got really wide:)
I was scheduled for 9 days after my due date with DD. (the induction took 2 days, though) I'm HOPING not to be induced this time, but I'd imagine it'd be around the same again.
i had asked about induction, just in case, and I was told that at 39 weeks, IF and only if there are signs of progression, like dialation and efacing would they even consider it, but no later than 41 weeks.
41 weeks because I have GD. That would be this Thursday, but I have a NST and doc appt today. Labor dust please! I would love it if there has been enough progress to just go for it today...

For me it really depends. I have high BP and a very narrow pelvis. So it depends on how high my BP gets, and if that stays o.k. then how big baby gets in order to avoid a c-section.
I think normally a week overdue though for my practice.
Isn't the average first pregnancy 41 w and 1 d or something like that? Inducing just for the hell of it at 41 weeks seems odd to me, but oh well.
My midwives won't talk about induction until 42 weeks and even then will let me try some more natural things (acupuncture) if there is no medical reason to worry.
I've been having heart issues and other issues so I guess thats why. Just taking it a day at a time right now. I'm not sure if the week before applies to perfect pregnancies.

Hopefully it won't come to that is right!
Unfortunately I have GD so I will prob be induced at 38 or 39 weeks.
BFP#1 on 02/14/09 BIRTH to Mason 6lb9oz on 10/12/09
BFP#2 on 5/28/11 EDD 2/1/12 Natural M/C on 6/13/11
BFP#3 on 1/20/12 EDD 9/30/12 Natural m/c on 1/27/12
BFP#4 on 4/23/12 BIRTH to Isabella 7lb1oz on 12/19/12
Not sure, but they are in no hurry. My SIL used the same, and they wouldn't have induced her until 41 weeks at least.

Ditto this. As long as me and baby are healthy then I will wait it out.

THURSDAY NIGHT!
That's 1 week after my due date. And unless this baby comes in the next couple of days, it will come to that. Boo Hiss.
