    1. We're in our 7th week of PRIDE classes, and have completed almost everything else! Hopefully we'll be licensed this fall!

    2. Looking forward to working on decorating ideas for the foster childrens' rooms.   Dreading job searching. It's no fun.

    3. We haven't decided yet.

    2. Tell us one thing you are looking forward to/one thing you are dreading this week.  Looking forward to researching where we want to go for vacation next year!  Dreading taking DD to the doctor this afternoon.

    1. Private IA awaiting for visa.

    2. Hopefully getting some answer to when and how long the visa is going to take. Dreading the answer to above questions. Last week it was 4 to 6 months. Today it is less than 4 to 6 months.

    3. Life book-making by hand. Did not need a profile.

    2. Looking forward to a clean house after we got back from vacation. Dreading getting our car fixed and yet another dr appt

    1. Where and How?  Domestic Infant Adoption, Awaiting Finalization...Met w/ Court Appointed Investigator on Sat.  He estimated returning our report to court in about a month at which point, our attorney can request a court date...so baby-steps...

    2. Tell us one thing you are looking forward to/one thing you are dreading this week. Well, looking forward to my birthday on Wednesday...dreading, DD's 9 month appt on Thursday b/c she will be getting shots:( 

    3. Life books / Profile books - Online and have copies made, or did you do yours by hand? I made our profile book by hand.  I hope to continue w/ the lifebooks by hand, but I not finding much quality time to keep up...started a blog recently so I hope to have that printed out every 6 months or so in a book format.

    1. Where and How? DA 4.28.09 on road to finalization with 2/4 post placement home study visits completed. Next one will be in a few weeks.

    2. Tell us one thing you are looking forward to/one thing you are dreading this week.  Not sure - this week doesn't really have much planned. I'm trying to get the house organized and  start scrapbooking again thiss week though.

    3. Life books / Profile books - Online and have copies made, or did you do yours by hand? For our profiles for adoption our agency made a four page glossy phamplet that had pictures and information about us that we gave them unfortunately or rather fortunately lol all that hardwork never was put into play since we were matched/placed before we went active. For Grant's baby book we chose a traditional babybook that not only combines all the traditional baby book elements but naturally adds in adoption related elements from:

    2. Tell us one thing you are looking forward to/one thing you are dreading this week.  excited to see my family at a BBQ on Friday, dreading making a decision about whether or not to build a new home

    1. Where and How? FA - 3 girls with drama going on in their case and we are adopting an 18 month old boy, placement of him next week hopefully

    2. Tell us one thing you are looking forward to/one thing you are dreading this week.   Going to see Wicked in Austin this weekend/driving to Austin with 4 children

    1. Approved FA parents, waiting for a match.

    2. Well I guess I am both looking forward to AND dreading putting our house on the market. I do not feel ready for this...but at the same time it is a rather exciting new adventure.

    3. Our child should come with one already started, so we will continue with whatever format it is in.

    1. Where and How?  Got our referral for a baby boy from Korea last week, now filling out more paperwork to get the visa to bring him home.

    2. Tell us one thing you are looking forward to/one thing you are dreading this week.  Looking forward to telling my clients that I'll be going on maternity leave at the end of the year.   Dreading the mountain of paperwork still ahead of us.

    1. Where and How?  We are finishing up our homestudy contract and application.

    2. Tell us one thing you are looking forward to/one thing you are dreading this week.  Looking forward to getting fingerprinted on Friday and then turning in our application packet.

    3. Life books / Profile books - Online and have copies made, or did you do yours by hand?   Haven't gotten there yet.

    I wasn't around much yesterday, I'm glad to see someone started the check in post! :)

    1. BM is 19w1d. DA

    2. I'm looking forward to a job offer. I'm dreading giving 2 weeks notice.

    3. Profile book: our agency put together by hand and made copies. Life book: I will digital scrapbook. I have already started a pages on our adoption process and am planning a "fun facts" about our BM for the next page. :)

    I wasn't around yesterday either.

    1.  Domestic adoption

    2.  First homestudy meeting this week!  Dreading a five hour long work meeting tomorrow.

    3.  I don't know how we will do ours yet.  I think we will learn about our agency's expectations in our HS meeting tomorrow.

    wow! Still catching up from this week's activity! =)

     

    1. Where and How? Home study approved, just waiting for the report to be submitted and our profile printed. Hopefully active by the end of August.2. Tell us one thing you are looking forward to/one thing you are dreading this week.  It has been a long week so far, but looking forward to finishing our closet in the nursery this week!

    3. Life books / Profile books - Online and have copies made, or did you do yours by hand?  Profile book was designed by me, printed by another company.
