Bumbo users--how long do you let LO sit in it for?

I know it says you can use it when they can keep their heads up good.  We've been using it every so often for the last 2 weeks because she likes to sit up now as opposed to laying down.  My MIL says we can't leave her in it for more than 5-10 minutes at a time though because of her developing spine...makes sense.  What do you do and how long do you leave them in for?  The bumbo website doesn't actually specify!

10 minutes on average..we just started using it about 2 weeks ago..she doesnt really like anything but her swing for more than 15 minutes..activity mat, bouncy seat, bumbo only get about 10-15 minutes before she's bored with it.

about 10 minutes.  He is usually good in there just long enough for me and DH to eat dinner.  We just keep him amused with toys.

This!  Although he is probably closer to 5 minutes than 10.

I think J lasts 10 minutes sometimes its longer though. I'll put him in it while I make dinner and e watches me.

Thats about what we do- 5 to 10 minutes and take her out when she gets fussy.

DS usually only stays in his for about 5 minutes.
