Did your teether refuse solids?

Similar to my post below, I'm also wondering if DS had trouble with dinner tonight because of teeth. He doesn't seem to be in pain any other time during the day, but he has been playing with/chewing on his bottles and sippy cups. At dinner he cried and had a mini meltdown whenever the spoon went near his face. He usually downs his food in minutes.

We gave him some frozen food in the mesh feeder and he loved it. He was good for a few minutes after that until I assume that numbing feeling wore off a bit.

Does this sound like it could be teething? I'm hoping he's not refusing purees because he barely eats table foods at this point. It's only been during dinner, breakfast and lunch are fine.

Ugh, I wish they could just tell us what's going on with them!

  • Yes both my boys did this.. and Jett doesn't even want to eat his bottle.. but we are going through this right now.. he use to down his food and now he will eat like half the jar.. but once his teeth pop in he is back to eatting so he must be getting more ;)
