Doppler questions

Hey ladies...I have a few questions if you got a doppler.

1. At what point can you consistently hear the heartbeat at home? 

2. Did you rent or buy and from where? Do you recommend the place you used?

3. Did the doppler help ease your anxiety or cause extra anxiety (ie if you couldnt find the heartbeat)?

1.  I think I was about 13-14 wks before it was consistent and I knew where they were so I could find them pretty quickly.

2.  I rented from babybeat.com and loved it.  They were super easy to deal with and my. dr actually had the same doppler in his office. 

3.  It helped to ease things tremendously for me.  I knew that if there were times I couldnt find the hb's (which was mainly in the beginning) that I just had to stop for aminute and then try again.  I had so many u/s's along the way and they helped ease my mind too.

1. It was found at my doctor's office at 10 weeks and I ordered it after that and received it around 12 weeks and never had a problem finding it.

2. I ordered one on Ebay (it's the pink one that's around $100)

3. Definitely helped ease anxiety.  I could always find the HB and it was a long time between my last ultrasound (8 weeks) and the next one at 18 weeks and feeling movement!

2. Bought on the internet - its a Pocket Fetal Doppler (thats the name) and paid $95 for it (free shipping) on ebay.

3.  It is the single best purchase I have made since becoming pregnant.  It is a God send.  I cant live without it.  Now that LO is moving more....I use it less.  However, from weeks 9-19...I used it every single day.

Hmmm....ok. You guys are pretty convincing! I think I am going to start looking into it some more.
