Hi All
Hello Everyone,
So I am new to this website! I am not pregnant yet but am going to be going off my birth control in about a week in hopes of getting pregnant. My husband and I have been married for 2 years and have been together for almost 8 years.
On this site, I am hoping to find guidance as I am a little scared about the whole pregnancy aspect of it all. I want the baby but have never had to deal with all the things that lead up to it. I am also nervous about the issues of integrating family. I have a stepdaughter that will be turning 9 this week and she has always been the only one at our home. I feel like I have done a good job about thinking of her feelings about adding to our family.
Hopefully I can get some good advice along the way!

Welcome! You'll find lots of good advice and guidance on this site. The local one and the general ones. I found it so helpful while going through my pregnancy and now with my baby.
It's a wonderful journey. Good luck to you and your family! The fact that you're on this site now tells me you're going to be an excellent mother!
Welcome! Good luck getting pregnant! (At least I assume you meant to say, "off birth control" instead of "on birth control."
) I hope it all works out for you and your husband!
This is a good site for getting advice and all of that jazz! Just a little warning: Some women can be kind of, well, rude on here. So just don't take them too personally and you'll be fine! Lurking for a while before posting usually helps give you a feel for the boards. (And I'm referencing the main tri boards, of course. The MN one simply rocks!)
