We are doing IA and are using Wide Horizon For the Children.....they also do DA and do allow you to continue with fertility treatments. I am not sure if they are in your area......here is there web site..............
You might have better luck using an adoption attorney instead of an agency.
TTC #1 for over 5 years - too many to count IF treatments (tried everything and anything), repeat miscarriages.
Finally, Sticky Success!! B/G Twins arrived 2011.
Not sure if you'd be interested in FA, but our state was perfectly fine with our plans to also try for a bio child. i think overall they'd be more lenient with this than adoption agencies.
i think they both told me they would prefer applicants wait until the bio baby is 6 months old before adopting the new child [i think it's just a guideline and not a policy] but didn't have an issue with going through the process first. basically, they will let you adopt if you're pg or if you become pg during the process but they would want you to wait a little while after having the child before picking up your adoptive child.
that's what they told me at least [i only want to adopt but dh wants bio kids so we're trying].
also, we plan on adopting from russia, so i'm sure it depends on the country. as far as IA goes, russia is pretty relaxed with requirements as far as what they want from adoptive parents. i know because i am 22 and have only been married since march and a lot of the countries require both parents to be of a certain age and to be married a certain amount of time before applying.
