So here's an amusing story - and PIP

Today we went down to the lakefront and walked along the water.  Where we were walking was not on the beach, but up higher so there was a fence/barrier thing to keep people from falling in.  I held Ian's hand while DH pushed Max in the stroller.  We stopped to look over at some birds or he rocks or something, when suddenly I heard a "sploosh".  I figured Ian found some rock or something to throw in.  Nope.

 

A bit hard to see, but yeah that's his shoe in there, floating in good old Lake Michigan, irretrievable.  "Buh bye shoe" - he said after he threw it in.  Buh bye indeed - I am just glad it was a cheapie from Old Navy.
