NBR Again - What would you have DH wear?

We are going to a wedding reception tonight.  Our friends got married in Mexico a few months ago (the bride's hometown) and their reception is tonight.  The ceremony was very casual, with the groomsmen wearing sandals, linen pants, and a white short-sleeved button down, and the bridesmaids wore cute summer floral dresses.  The wedding party will be wearing the same outfits tonight.

What would you have DH wear?  I'm thinking dress pants, shirt, tie, no jacket, and if it's more casual than that, DH can always take off his tie.  Thoughts?

    i think that sounds good! and if he takes off the tie he can roll up the sleeves of his shirt or something

    That is exactly what I told DH.  He wants to wear his linen pants and white short-sleeved shirt that he wore to my brother's beach wedding last year.  LOL - he doesn't realize that he'll look like part of the wedding party tonight if he does that.

    skip the tie.

    he'll be more formal than the WP if he wears it.

    Stay at home mom to a house of boys: two amazing stepsons, 12 and 9, and our 4 year old.
