go to tinypic.com, choose the pic you want, resize it to either website or thumbnail (depending on how small you want it), upload, then c&p the url for forums into your post.

that's what i do bc it's easiest for me.

The pic has to be online (like in a shutterfly).  Right click on the pic and go down to copy URL.   Open a post, click on tree (next to smilie face), & Paste the URL in the Imagine URL field.
