I voted for 11 to 13 hours, but that was with pitocin and that is counting from when they started the pitocin and broke my water.
If you count from when the contrractions started at home, then the total would be almost 24 hours (that was when they were about 8 to 10 mins apart). If you counted from when they were 5 mins apart and I had to breathe through them, the total would be 21 hours.

Yeah I was in labor for about 13.5 hours from the time my water broke until the time she was born. However I had been having painless/ low pain contractions for about 8 hours before my water broke so I was probably really in labor about 21 hours or so. I ignored the painless contractions because I was at risk for PTL and had been having them since 28 weeks. It wasn't until the really painful contractions hit ,a total of 2 before my water broke, that I knew I was really in labor
I said "other." My water broke on a Sunday morning, but I didn't have a single contraction until they started a pit drip at 9:00 Sunday night. Finn was born 8 hours later. I don't really count the time before the pitocin.

This, minus the rushed part. He wasn't tolerating contractions, I barely got into labor.
