Special family breakfast

Does your family have one?

I grew up eating Tortilla Breakfast.  I'm pretty sure my Grandma made it up, but it's so yummy.

Dip a flour tortilla in egg beaten with milk.  Brown in frying pan with butter.

Fill with cheddar cheese, sour cream, and avocado and roll.  Top with warmed Herdez salsa.

Voila!

OMG That sounds delicious! I'm writting this down and trying it.

  • our breakfast was goat cheese, lavash bread, and hot tea...lol

h's breakfast was a tad bit more normal.  they called it "eggies in a cup".  boiled eggs and toast mashed up in a cup and eaten with a spoon.

i guess that's not really normal either, lol.

Thanks. I noticed you used Morgan as well. I chose Morgan because it seems to be the trend in my family. My mom's name is an Ethiopian Queen in the Bible. My name means Princess and Morgan is the only type of horse that the Royals use.  So it seems appropriate keep the theme. =) I like it for both genders. Plus I figured with a name like Morgan she wouldn't be reduced to Morgan C in school. I was the only one in my class growing up with my name. I wanted her to have the same thing. =) I'm starting to hear it more now that she's here.

I like your reasons, those are unique.  We chose Morgan because it fits with our M theme, and we didn't know beforehand if Morgan was a boy or girl and were going to use it either way.

  • We always ate green eggs and ham on Christmas morning (using the leftover ham from Christmas eve).  We also had "potato pancakes" made from leftover mashed potatoes from the night before.
