Anyone use Prince William OB/GYN?

I live in Gainesville and have been going to them for my annual exams for the last couple of years, but now that I'm pregnant I think I should look into this a bit more.  I picked them because they are all women doctors and they have an office in Gainesville.  Does anyone use them and are you happy with them?  Does anyone have a different female doctor in the area that you would recommend instead of Prince William?

It took 3 1/2 long years, but we finally got our little miracle!

  • I LOVE THEM!!!!!  after i had my m/c i left the practice i was with because they would horrible with me and i had heard good things about PWOBGYN.  well, my very first appointment and i knew they were the right fit.  they were fantastic with me during my tttc and when i got pregnant they were very supportive.  they are funny, they are easy going, and never pushed me to get an epidural or anything when i was having him.  i really can't say enough good things about them.

  • i go there as well.

i love them. all of the doctors (except for maybe one) is super friendly, easy to talk to, they don't rush you out the door and the doctor that i had during delivery was the absolute best.

    i couldn't ask for a better obgyn.

  • I go there as well.  I loved the fact it was an all female practice.  I was SUPER happy with them for my first delivery.  With the exception to the fact that while I was pushing my doctor had to leave to go perform a scheduled C-section and I got to hang out once the baby crowned for 15 minutes without continuing while I waited for her to come back.  However,  I have had some issues with them for this pregnancy.  It was so bad I was thinking about switching doctors last week at 36 weeks!

Some of the doctors ALWAYS run late for appointments.  I understand most offices do...but had to wait for one doctor over an hour and another time for a different doctor for an hour and fifteen minutes!!!   Never an apology, never once am I given any notice from the front that they are running behind.

On top of that there were several mix-ups this time around.  I found out I was pregnant at 22 weeks and had my first sono at 24 weeks.  I asked to do the GD test and pre-natal labs all at once since I HATE giving blood.  They agreed.  Well...they lost my pre-natal labs....GRRRR...  There was also some other confusion about if I should have my annual pap or not since I was 3rd trimester.

I also have several "Mom Group" friends who did not have the best experience in delivery here.

Unless they tick me off again between now and the birth of my next child I will hang in there...but I won't go back once this pregnancy is done!!! Good luck with whatever you decide.
