Hi ladies,
ok well, I didn't get much as the tech was "not allowed" to go into details, but he did mention that the valves looked good but the atrium has "premature contractions" whatever the heck that means? I've been trying to look it up for the past 30 minutes now. Anywho, it can't be all that bad, as he said the cardiologist would only get back to me next week. ![]()
I'll keep you all up to date, but I feel somewhat relieved... I think. LOL
Thanks for all your prayers!
Bea

Well at least it is not that serious that it can wait a week. Hang in there...
Sounds good, Bea
you'll want to look up "premature atrial contractions" - that should give you some more info. My Dad had PVC's (premature ventricular contractions) when he was in the hospital, and while they monitored it they didn't seem too terribly concerned. PAC's are even less serious.
You're simply awesome! I feel much more at ease now - thank you!
Hi! ?I haven't been following your story, but I wanted you to know that I have had PVC's for years and they are harmless. ?I was told that PAC's are even more benign. ?There is nothing structurally wrong with my heart, but it is very annoying and can be frightening. ?
I took medication for a bit a few years ago to get them to stop because they were so numerous, but stress seems to set it off.
Good luck with your follow-up!?
