is Shettles Method really true??

So, for the ones who have found out what they are having....has the Shettles Method been true for you??

Just curious because with neither one of my pregnancies we didn't try Shettles, but with my first we had sex both 1 and 2 days before ovulation and had a boy and with the pregnancy now it just so happened that we had sex 3-4 days before ovulation, but we don't know what we are having yet....but this pregnancy has been alot different so we shall see!

I guess it could work but we didn't follow it.

If the shettles method was 100% I would be having my second girl right now. We didn't actually use the method, but I know when I ovulated and know the basics of how it's supposed to work.

Well, they don't claim 100% accuracy, which is good.

I have a friend that had sex 6 days before O and one day after - none in between.  Suprising she got pregnant at all that cycle, but definitely a boy.  Another friend had sex 4 days before O and boy.  And another friend had sex day before and day of O - girl.

according to the theory - it didnt work out that way for us.

we didn't use the shettles method but we had sex 4 or 5 days before o and not after and I am having a girl

We did not use it but if it were true we should be having a boy.

It also has to do with your DH's sperm. If females are more prominant, or males. Say for example, a man is only able to have girls. Even if sex was timed just right for a boy, a girl is going to be the end result.

We had sex the day of ovulation with both pregnancies - 1st one - boy, 2nd one - girl.
