I'm looking for some songs and melodies I could let DS listen to while he plays - not the typical nursery rhyme stuff, and not classical music (we're doing that already). Any ideas? TIA!
If you're looking for folk songs, I have tons and tons, but I don't know if that's what you meant by nursery rhymes...Yay for doing them, though! Parents don't teach their kids nursery rhymes anymore.
CD's- Anything Jim Gill is good, The Learning Station is usually pretty good, and Greg and Steve isn't too bad either. Jim Gill is for sure my fave of those, though, and his focus is literacy!
Let me know if you want more...I teach general music, and have "taught" babies too
