Dear bumpies,
I was standing in the kitchen after doing the dishes finishing a glass of wine (too bad it is all gone makes me sad) but I started reading the warning on the side of the bounce napkin plastic...just in case you forgot to read it:
"Caution: not for use in hot conventional ovens. Do not leave crumpled up napkins in the oven- they can ignite. Do not dry herbs or flowers on napkins in the microwave or conventional ovens. In case of fire, turn off oven, leave door closed and call 9-1-1."
Ok thanks Proctor and Gamble...you saved me (and my fellow bumpies) from a potential disaster.!
Ok bumpies, guess my flower drying on bounty napkins career is over...sorry it is simply too dangerous.
I just got a huge chuckle out of this! had too share
Re: FYI-- not ttc+35 re
When I read it I started laughing so hard..I almost peed myself..DH asked what I was laughing at..I could not tell him for a few minutes or with a straight face.
Furthermore, I have to add...it did say "crumpled up" that was a direct quote.
DH is an attorney and his comment was "wow someone really did those things and sued or they would not have put them on the side of the plastic". That made me laugh harder.
This whole thing makes me laugh...what kind of wine were you drinking Baze? I need to run to the store and get me a bottle.
I love reading the warning labels; they are very entertaining. I've heard that some of the warning labels are on the product because people actually do something that causes the warning. So it's possible that some dumb schmuck tried to dry herbs or flowers in the oven with a paper towel.
Also, I would never think to dry herbs and flowers in the microwave or oven.
What's sad is they probably had to put the warning on because someone lit a fire and then sued them!
Now I'm going to stop typing and go play with matches and climb on furniture.
