DH and Diapers

How do you all get DH to change a diaper here or there? Or are yours all just great & do it anyways??

DH does his fair share. ?He will normally change all of the diapers in the evening since I change them all day. ?He is really good about doing it without me asking.

Mine pretty much flat refuses. I got him to change one, and it was the first and only time:(

Sometimes DH does it on his own, and sometimes I ask.  He's getting better.

ETA;  Let me add that DH works 6 days a week and I am not working at all right now.  He works out of town Monday through Thursday.  So I would assume that by him working and paying all the bills that we both are doing our fair share.

it took him a little getting used to but he doesn't complain. He doesnt like doing the stinky ones but I was out for a few hours and he had to, never again he said, never again lol

I don't have a problem with changing diapers.  When we are both at home, he probably changes Jacob more than I do.  And I don't have to nag or even ask.

With my first he would randomly do it but not as much.  He finally admitted that he was scared lol.  Once he was more comfortable he would change her whenever I asked him but not on his own as much unless I was busy.  He was just home for 2 weeks and he changed her a lot.  He has gotten better and better with each kid with everything, not just diapers.  I no longer have him ask me to change a kid when she messes a diaper while he has her.  Makes me really sad he isn't around this time since he was such a great help for 2 weeks...

My DH is a trooper...he changes them all the time. I guess I got lucky!

oh you all suck.

DH never changes any. even last night when I had a horrible headache and had almost blacked out earlier that day. he will sometimes do it when I ask. ugh

My DH actually changes lots of diapers on his own.I have never had to ask him. His Dad actually brags that he only changed 10 diapers with the 4 kids they had. It really pisses me off the way he brags about it. DH and I have talked about it and he knows how I feel about his dad being "proud" of never having to change diapers.

DH does them on his own. LOL, the nurses at the hospital made SURE that dad's changed diapers. DH would have anyway, but I'm sure it helped out other moms.

I'd be pissed if he didn't. But I guess that's why I married him; he's hands on.

Dh changes more diapers than I do.  Basically since I am the only one who can feed her Dh handles diaper duty from the time he gets home.

He doesn't mind doing it, sometimes he even does it on his own!  Makes me proud lol

DH has changed diapers from day 1. He did all the diaper changes in the hospital and does most of them when he's home from work. I don't have to do anything to get him to do it, he just likes to help however he can.

My DH will change DD's diaper any time I ask him to but he has yet to pick her up and change her on his own.

This.  DH does 99% of the diapers and the diaper laundry.   He changed her first diaper in the hospital and has been going strong ever since.
