with a couple questions.

1) the FB site that Punk has- I requested to join, bu thave not heard word back. It is solely for the purpose of the GTG?

2) Are there any GTGs planned? I am on crutches, working from home and going a little stir crazy. GTGs sound awesome.

3)Any one know and any kick ass daycare in the Carrollton/Lewisvilles area along 35?

1) No one here really knows about the FB group that punk has (none of us were invited to it), so you may want to post that question on 6-12 or 12-24 where she usually posts.  We have our own FB group already, actually; it's owned by sethsgal.

2) Mrs.Donkey is hosting a Gymboree GTG on Aug. 22, but I believe it's full now.  Nothing else has been planned yet, but something will pop up soon.

3) Can't help you with this one at all, I'm nowhere near that area; however, there are several moms on here that can.

The Peanut Gallery is awesome (on Timbercreek in FM)  It's off of Valley Ridge & 35, just on the edge of Lewisville.

So there is a FB group for DFWer's? How does one get accepted or approved to join? I promise, I am not a nutjob. My husband might have a different opion on certain days. 

We have an 8 month old daughter, who is literally, the light of our lives. And three dogs.

Well, the group that most of us belong to was created by sethsgal - if she logs on and reads this post she can send you the link to it.  It's completely different from the one that punk created - none of us are involved in that one at all.  I can't FB at work (and they're in the middle of a denial-of-service attack so it's hard to get on anyway), so I can't send you the link at the moment.

thank you. Sounds like are not far from our daycare.

I don't know of any daycares in Lewisville or Carrollton but DS used to go to Children's Lighthouse in Denton and we really liked it. I'm pretty sure they have a Carrollton location. He also went to The Treehouse Academy in Corinth and I would not recommend it. ?

Hi!  I'm in Frisco.  I have no advice on the daycares but the GTGs are lots of fun!  Welcome to the board.

LOL. I'll bite.

Punk doesn't play nice with some of the girls on this board and we have become a pretty tight knit group. Also, I think Punk said that the facebook page that she created was for all of TX.

funny you say this- this is where we are at the moment. 

I need to ask - why would you not recommend? (btw, you cannot offend me, since we are looking for a new place anyhow.
