Day two, but our rooms are right next to each other. Our door frames touch, its a old house so close rooms. We moved him to his own room into his crib and it went great.?
We had DD in a co-sleeper next to the bed until about 6 weeks. Then we moved the co-sleeper to the end of the bed as a free-standing basinnet until she was about 2 1/2 months old. Then we moved the basinnet into her room so she could get used to the new room. Then right after she turned 3 months, we moved her into her crib. She did fine with the transition. Now we're just trying to break her of the habit of falling asleep downstairs with us (she likes to fall asleep on the couch with us and then we take her up when she's zonked out. if we try to take her up earlier, she wakes up).
7 weeks, when I was waking him up to eat b/c I thought he was awake and really he was just making noises. Woke me up ALL THE TIME. Moved him to his room and I only woke up every few hours.

Just this week. She was sleeping soundly all night in her co-sleeper, but we would wake up to every little move she made. We put her in her crib one night and she didnt seem to even care. I however was in her room 4-5 times to check on her : ) But now we all sleep all night long.
Trying for #2 since July 2010 BFP 8/1/10, missed m/c, D&C 9/15/10. BFP 1/8/11, chemical pregnancy. BFP 3/4/11, measured behind all along, no more HB 4/18/11. D&C 4/29/11. HCG didn't drop, Repeat D&C 6/17/11; confirmed molar pregnancy 6/23/11. Forced break, including two Hysteroscopies in October to remove retained tissue. BFP 12/29/11! Betas @ 10 dpo = 85, 14 dpo= 498, 22 dpo = 7242 Heard HB 1/24/12. 144 bpm!
The day he turned one month. It wasn't planned that way, but we were both ready. Jacob is such a loud sleeper that I sleep so much better when he's in his crib.
We are still working on napping in the crib though, he prefers the bouncy seat right now. I take what I can at this point!

He was never in our room. He was in the bassinet part of the PNP for about the first week out in the family room and then right in to his crib. We took turns sleeping on the floor of his room for the first few nights and he has been in the crib ever since.
DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption
as soon as she was sttn at 8 weeks. we knew it was time when we would put her to bed in the pnp in our room, then she would wake up when we came in to get ready for bed - we were disturbing her. it was hard at first, i woke up to watch the video monitor a bunch the first week.

We are hoping to make the transition this weekend. I think we are all ready...we just have to move the guest bed out (and the guest along with it!) so that he can sleep in his crib.
DS has slept in his crib in his own room since we brought him home. He is much too noisy of a sleeper to have him in our room (although I can still hear it through the monitor). In the morning I will sometimes bring him into the cradle we have in our room if I think he'll sleep a bit longer.
He sleeps in the PNP in our room still. We are planning to move him to crib once he starts rolling over or around 5 month mark...whichever happens first.
