Happy Due Date to Me, Too!

So today is my due date, though I know it SHOULD be tomorrow if based on LMP (which was 10/31) but my OB wrote down August 6th after my 1st appointment and one day earlier sounded good to me.

I slept poorly last night. Dreamed that my ex-fiance found out I was pregnant and sent me a gift (and apologized for being an ass). It was very weird. Then I got up to pee and I leaked something.

It wasn't pee and while my panties got wet, I don't think it was my water breaking. But it was a lot of ... something. Gross!

But it stopped and I sent my DH to work. I hope I did the right thing and I'm NOT in labor (even though I want to be) because he'll have a hard time getting back to NJ from work in NYC.

So today is my due date but I don't think this kid will arrive today. He's stubborn like his daddy.

LOL @ your description. But that's exactly what it was.. thin mucusy stuff.

I just am beginning to seriously doubt my ability to recognize the signs of labor. I don't want to be like the daughter in Father of the Bride 2 who keeps saying "it's time" and it's nothing.

Though I AM turning into her with my need for COLD. Our electric bill is going to be through the roof this month!

Hi Robyn,

I just wanted to tell you of my experience with my last pg...I ahd something similar happen where i stood up and felt like I peed myself a little....it happened several time over the course of 1/2 day. I actually had a high leak - so basically I would drip when I stood.

Just keep that in the back of your mind in case something similar happens - you would want to call your OB and get it checked.
