Chili's 2 for $20 menu.

Is awesome. DH was off work today, so we went to Target to get some last minute things. (My c-section is Tuesday.) And we went to Chili's for lunch. You get an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a desert to share. I thought, since most entrees are 9 to 10 bucks a piece, that maybe you got smaller portions this way. No! I ordered the chicken chrisper tacos, and it came with beans, rice and the whole bit. DH got a huge burger and fries.

And the chocolate lava cake? Yum. Just an FYI, for anyone looking for a cheap lunch/dinner out option.

We went to BRU the other day and stopped by Applebee's because I got the deals mixed up:( They had the 2 meals & appetizer for $20 but who doesn't want a dessert?!?

We went last weekend and I said the same thing. I thought the app and dessert would be small portions, but it wasnt!! We got the chocolate chip lava cake and it was heaven in my mouth!!

I love this deal. They give you normal portions of everything.  Or maybe it was just that we got there at like 9:30 on a Tuesday.  They do up that thing well.  We went to Carino's one time when they were running a similar thing and were a bit disappointed when they brought out the dessert.  It was a tiny cheesecake bite that you could get at Sam's.  It was really 1"x1".  Totally lame.

We had the Chili's 2 for 20 last week, and it was awesome!  You're so right about the chocolate lava cake...yum!
