Now that I have been a mom for thirty days I just updated my blog with the things I am glad we purchased and the things we could have gone without. I am going to keep adding to it. What were / are your must have items?

 

I would have to say I probably should have included my 3 pairs of sweatpants I live in as my # 1 fave

I have not had my baby yet but I totally agree with your suggestion on reading Happiest Baby, I would also suggest renting or buying the dvd right before your due date to watch.

I actually got a bouncy seat that is more modern and very reasonable in price, you can also attach an ipod to it to play soothing music for baby.  It's a dwell studio one from Target.

Some people swear by the wipe warmer and some say it's a waste of money.  Either way a lot of babies will cry regardless, they don't like having their diapers changed and don't like being undressed.

yay! Thanks for posting this! I have many of those items on my registry after trying to research the best baby gear. Like the My Little Lamb swing and bouncy chair. Glad you like them....I hope they work for me too!

anyone have any?suggestions?on a good stroller system for city living? we are in center city and am looking for a stroller that is good for getting on and off the bus, around the city, etc.?

I feel like they are all as bulky as it gets. I have the bugaboo and it is totally wide. I also snagged a jogging stroller off Craig's List and it will be great for the path but is heavy and is not easy to move around.
