Registering...

Hi all,

So I am excited to register, but before I do, I want to make sure that the items I register for have great ratings and reviews-- like everyone, I want the safest life for my baby.

I posted this on the QOTD for March Mommies, but I have a feeling that it will just get lost in the shuffle.

If you have any recommendations for websites, books, or whatever, I'm all ears!  Thanks a bunch!

P.S. Thank you to all you lovely ladies for helping me procrastinate!  Instead of working on my paper for my Master's class that's due tomorrow, I would much rather read your posts... I appreciate it!  Smile

Re: Registering...

  • Baby Bargains is a great book - tons of info and ratings.

I'm not registering til after the Big U/S, but started to look through this book.

  • Baby Bargains is a great place to start.  Keep in mind that many items change by season and if you register too early a lot of items will be unavailable when your shower comes along.  Even carseats and strollers come in different patterns and colors that get changed out.  Most people wait to actually register until after the big u/s (around 20-22 weeks).
  • definitely get the "Baby Bargains" book - it has tons of products, ratings, and recommendations!

  • I totally agree about registering too early (it drives me nuts when that happens for weddings), but I'm a plan-it-out-and-then-execute kind of girl, so I just wanted to hear what the experts say!

Any other suggs. besides the book?

  • I've been looking on Amazon and sorting a specific category by "average customer rating".  There are great reviews and it helps me narrow down my choices.

  • I just ordered the Baby Bargins book off Amazon for DH. He loves to review products to find the best items for the best price.
