Borax?

Does anyone know if it's safe to use Borax while pregnant?  I mix it with water and lemon juice as an all purpose cleaner, but just realized I haven't looked into whether it's safe to use or not.  I googled, but I'm getting mixed info about it.  Anyone have any idea?

I'm going to XP on Eco-friendly but though I'd check here too!

I use borax as an abrasive cleaner too.  I believe as long as you're not consuming it it's fine.  It's a naturally-occurring mineral. 

ETA: I also use gloves with most of my cleaners, and would recommend that too rather than using bare hands.

I used to but BORAX for a chemical company that I worked for a few years back and I personally wouldnt use it. It can be very strong at certian levels and the fumes it gives off just as dangerous

This is what I mean LOL One person says yes, one person says no.

I figure it can't be any worse than pine sol or whatever else people use so I guess I'll just take my chances
