I got a cake and balloons and a few gifts on Friday for my last day of work. I finally got the pics off my camera. It was so sweet of my coworker, Ana, to decorate and our warehouse manager, Tony, got the cake.

Re: AW: My "maternity leave" send off (PIP)
I was really touched and I didn't expect that at all.
Apparently coworkers and customers (who knew I was pregnant, I didn't tell everyone since I only talk to them on the phone) are making bets on when this kid will arrive. Some have already lost... LOL.

Love the cake! That's hilarious.

So sweet!!!!
You look awsome by the way!
Kristina
How sweet!
Many of my coworkers have bets going when baby will be here and what she'll weigh. Several have lost already as well (including myself and my husband).
Awwwww... That looks awesome Robyn. And you deserve it. Hooray!
And I love the cake.

How sweet - I think I would have cried! Love the cake - great idea!
That is so nice! I'll probably get a company golf umbrella or something...
Well... it's a SUPER small office that consists of the following people:
My Dad (boss/owner)
My Mom (accounts payable)
My Brother (merchandise control)
Me (Accounts Receivable Manager/Art Director)
Tony (Warehouse - Director of Logistics)
Ana (EDI Specialist)
Margaret (Receptionist) ? and also my oldest friend, Maid of Honor, etc.
There are about 6 people working both full time and part time in the warehouse. That's it. So being a family business (and I take my dog to work with me) it's super close. I'll be bringing my baby to work with me, too. At least until he's crawling into everything. Then I'll need to figure something out.

Wow! What a wonderful place to work. They certainly appreciate you!
Oh - I sooo want a piece of that cake!
Okay - you DO look friggin fabulous!
I was a bloated mess, by the end... good on ya!
(are you so ready??)

Ok, I was wondering why you are still at work when you are 40 weeks pregnant, family business explains it. You look awesome and you are so lucky to be able to take your doggie to work with you! My dog would love to come and live with you!!!! So do you have to go back to work fairly soon after you have the baby? That's great that you can take him/her to work with you too. Good luck with everything, can't wait to read your birth story and see pics of the baby.
Well, my last day was July 31st. I'm not working any more. And the office is 25 miles from my apartment. But it's been great bringing Casey to work with me for the last 6 years (before then, I worked in publishing and he stayed home all day). I don't plan to go back to work until my baby can come, too. So I guess that will be at 2 months, after he gets all his inoculations.
I can't wait to share a birth story. But this baby seems to like it where he is.
