Making a diaper cake

I'm making one for a friend of mine.  Does anyone know how to make the kind where the diapers lay (fan out) on each other?  All I see are the directions on how to make the kind with the rolled up diapers.

This is what I'd like to make:

I made one, but the other way. That looks hard.

But you could make the middle the rolled diaper way and they fan the outer layer to give it that look, and hold together with the ribbon.

Just google diaper cake and you will find a ton of info.  You can also go to youtube.com they have videos on how to do it the way you want it (fan out). 

I just made one for my sisters baby shower about a month ago.  What I did was put about 10-15 rolled up diapers and then fanned out diapers which I used on the outer of the rolled up diapers.
