can someone explain "witching hour" to me?

I keep seeing that term on her but I have no idea what it means. TIA!

  • I think it is referring to the early evening hours where babies tend to be more fussy than during the day.

Me: 35; DH: 34 DX: DOR, egg quality issues ; DH - all normal FSH 10.1, Estradiol 21.8, AMH 0.49 IVF #1 (Oct/Nov 2011) (Antagonist with BCP's)- 5R, 0 eggs to transfer CD3 b/w by same RE 1/2012: FSH 6, AMH 1.4...wtf?? IVF #2 (Apr 2012) EPP/Antagonist with ICSI - 10R, 7M, 6 ICSI'd, 2F. 3DT = BFN AMH tested by new RE 6/2012 - 2! Saving money for IVF #3. Started a ton of supplements in May 2012 and hoping for a miracle! SURPRISE BFP!! (October 2012)

    Yes, this...it's the time when DD = devil-child!! :) It's like she was full, dry, and not tired because she napped so much during the day so she didn't know what to do with herself. She was too young for her toys, but bored! So you could literally do nothing to calm her!

  • And it gets even MORE fun when you have toddler thrown into the mix. Screaming baby, screaming toddler- oh what fun.

    Doctors hat to call things colic anymore, but it is also known to be colic.  They cry, fuss, root and are just miserable fro the hours of about 7-11.  Starts around  6 weeks and it stinks!
