Going to New Orleans!

DH has a meeting there next week - I just booked a ridiculously cheap ticket for DD and me to join him at the end of the week!

We've never been (though I LOOOOOOVE the food). My aunt lives there so we can stay with her - double score!

The planner in me is itching to start mapping out all that I wanna see and do, but I know I should trust my aunt to show us around.

super jealous!!  i would love to go sometime though hate to travel and esp hate to fly..  *sigh*   but i'm a big foodie and would luuurve me some good new orleans cookin..  ::drools::  mmmmmm..

DH and I went on our honeymoon and I loved it!  You'll have a blast, it's beautiful down there.

Yay! I know you're used to hot weather, but get ready for hot & HUMID! lol There's plenty to do. The Audubon Zoo is great so is the Aquarium.
