WOHMs: PTing and Daycare

Those of you who are WOHMs, how did you handle PTing? I was planning to work on it over a weekend and talk with DCP to be sure they are keeping up the training. I'm just worried we will work so hard and get it down at home then have it all go to pot at daycare. Any advice?

Our DC is awesome and started the PTing!  They said they thought she was ready and to start sending her in underwear.  She had a few accidents (still has the occasional rare one) but is in undies every day (has been since early spring).

Talk to them, I'm sure they are use to PTing!

My daycare was great about PT.  We did it over a long weekend and sent him to school in underwear, with 2 extra pairs of underwear and an extra change of clothing.  We didn't have a problem.  I would think most daycares would work with you.

We used pull ups or diapers while potty training until she was doing really well at home and at daycare.  At that point daycare told us we could send her in underwear.  DD is in the preschool room at her daycare, and the lead teacher is an older woman who has been doing this for years and years.  The kids got taken to the bathroom every 2 hours (or more if they asked to go), and diapers were easier if she had an accident.  None of the kids seemed to have trouble potty training with diapers.

I was home in December because Daycare was closed for a week and I did it then. It took 2-3 days. Daycare knew when she came back to ask her often.
