  • Attachment parenting is a philosophy of parenting that includes things like baby-wearing and co-sleeping. I'm sure you'll learn a lot more on the attachment parenting board.
    Married 4/12/08 DS born 11/17/2009 via c-section at 39 weeks. 11/12/2011 BFP #2!! m/c 7w5d. 2/28/2012 BFP #3 Beta #1-12dpo = 18; Beta #2-16dpo = 185; Beta #3-18dpo = 505. EDD 11/10/2012. Ectopic discovered at 5w4d. D&C followed by methotrexate.
  • Attachment parenting is the method reccomended by Dr. Sears. Co-sleeping and babywearing are large parts of that style of parenting, but I know very little other than that.  Here are some links that may answer your questions.

  • I think it is the parenting theory put forth by Dr. Sears. It involves, baby-wearing, co-sleeping, feeding on demand, but I don't really know anything more about it. I don't plan to subscribe to any particular parenting plan and will just do what works for us.

Wow - that must be a new board. I've never seen it before. There are no posts yet. Speaking of....why can't we get our Parenting after 35 board?

Apparently its not up and running yet b/c you can't post to it....was just curious....I think we will try the "parenting the way my parents did" method.   I am 1 of 5 kids and we are all happy, healthy and very close with one another. DH's family is the same way. Parent's have been married 49 years and counting...I think they did alright!  Stick out tongue

  • A friend of mine did this(though I didn't know what it was called at the time), and her little girl, awesome as she is, slept in her parents' bed until last year... And she's 8.

  • Just my 2 cents...I don't recommend co-sleeping at ANY age. I speak from experience and it's a hard habit to break! My bed belongs to me and my DH. Big Smile
