I usually spend most of my time on another mom board, but I popped over here to hear about issues of being >35.
I am 36 now and got a BFP last week. I have another son who was born JUST shy of my 35th birthday.
I am due about March 30ish. I guess we'll narrow the date down more specifically when I go to my first appointment in a few weeks.
Anyway, hi. ![]()
Re: Hi, new here
Hi and welcome! Congrats!
Your son is beautiful!
Congratulations & Welcome!!
Overall, there aren't too many issues that come with being over 35. There are increased risks of Down's Syndrome and we end up getting more tests but most of us have been treated exactly the same as women under 35.
Nice to meet you!

Welcome and congrats!! Like Robyn said, being pg over 35 is pretty much the same as being pg under 35. There are increased risks for genetic problems but the overall risk is still very low.
