Nature can be cruel~ nesting/cleaning with a toddler.

My efforts are futile! I just wish I could clean it once and leave it until after we bring the baby home- but thats virtually impossible with Hurricane Corrina running around! Ugh!

  • I agree, it is futile.  It seems like the when it is slightly messy they don't feel the need to completely destroy the joint but when you have it nice and neat and clean they just want to pull everything out.     Goodluck!   Baby is coming soon huh?

  • I felt the same way but I have a dog that makes the house dirty too.  I had my DS on his due date.  I starting cleaning at 36 weeks just incase he came early.  He didn't so I got really frustrated that the house kept getting dirty again.  Now, I'm totally over worrying about how clean the house is and am just trying to keep up with the laundry.  Good luck with the new baby!

  • I think my DH and I have given up cleaning the living room, it's been a disaster for almost a week. It seems pointless sometimes. How does one little person create such a mess?

  • Haha, yep, and it only gets worse once the baby's here and you've got baby gear all over the place PLUS toddler messes!  "It won't be like this for long" though!  ;-)
