Happy my Doc is on the same page...Baby size

I am all for delivering naturally, but at our first visit I expressed my concern about having a larger than average baby and the options for a c-section at that point. I told her I was an 8lb baby, but I pointed over to my husband and told her that he was an 11lb baby! Thankfully she told me that she would NOT deliver an 11lb baby, and if it looked like it was going down that road, we could talk about a c-section. I always thought DH was just under 11lbs, but my MIL just emailed me and told me to demand that the doctor do a c-section because DH was 11lb 4oz! Damn...I am going to have a serious watermelon! Does anyone else know how big they and DH were?

my dh was also 11 lbs. I was 8 lb 13 oz.

My baby has been measuring exactly on her dates and not big at all though, so I wouldnt freak out just yet.

oh god! I need to have this conversation. DH was 10'6- they called him 'the blockbuster' in the maternity ward.

I was 7'5 though. . .

My DH was a preemie, so its kinda hard to tell, but I was 2 weeks late, and I weighed 8 lbs 5 oz.

I was 6 something and DH was 9 something. Hopefully LO takes after me...

I was a 10 lb baby and DH was 8 lbs.  DS was a "measly" 7 lbs.

I had a good friend who delivered an almost 11 lb baby and both her and her DH were small babies.  She is petite to begin with and didn't gain much weight during pregnancy and only went 3 days overdue.

Every baby is different for instance my husband and I were both 8.5lbs and our first was 5lb 14 ounces and she was full term so it just varies.

We were both small, I was full term 5lbs11oz, and DH was a premie 5lb13oz.  So I have a feeling we will have a small baby, no one in my family has had a big baby.

I was 8 lbs. 10 oz., DH was 10 lbs. 1 oz. 

Our sons were 9 lbs. 2 oz and 8 lbs. 14 oz.

Was your DH pretty late?  I was 2 weeks late, and my hubby was 2-3 weeks late.  I had my water broken with both our boys a few days after my due dates... so that may have made the difference.

Adding: Both were born vaginally, and I went med-free with my 2nd.

I was 11 lb 3 oz and DH was in the 8 pound range.  Our son was 9 lbs 14 oz, delivered by c-section.  Our daughter who is on the way is measuring smaller at this point in the pregnancy, so maybe we'll have a normal sized baby this time?  DS always measured at least a week ahead and DD is currently a week behind.

I was 7lbs 11oz and my Dh was 5lbs 5oz, my 2 kiddos were large babies DD was 8lbs 8oz and DS was 9lbs 9oz they were both 2 weeks early.

I was 7 lbs, 3 oz., and DH was 9 lbs, 6 oz. I was 1 week late, and DH was supposedly 1 month late. DD1 was 6 lbs, 10 oz, at 1 week early.

I was 9lb 3oz (my sis was 10lb 1oz at 3 weeks early!) and DH was 8lb 6oz. DD was 8lb 14oz and I'm already measuring a week ahead, so we're pretty sure I will have an over 9 lb baby this time. At least I know I can deliver an almost 9 pounder pretty easily. I only pushed for 1 hr with DD.
