Internals and cramping

I had my first internal this morning and I am feeling really heavy cramping, kind of like really bad menstrual cramps I had when I was younger. Has this happened to anyone? No bleeding or anything, just feeling crampy and uncomfortable. My Dr. didn't mention I might feel like this. Although I do have to say it didn't hurt like I thought it would, it was just uncomfortable.

    I was definately uncomfortable and slightly crampy after my internal but I didn't have bad menstrual cramps.

    yeah, you can definitely get some cramping after an internal.

    If it is really bad, call your doctor though to put your mind at ease.

    Yep, I've had the cramping every time he's done it.
