For those that use the big tub

I am not a bath person so forgive me if this seems silly. Do you scrub down the tub with comet before you bathe your toddler or just clean it once a week?

I can't imagine scrubbing down my bathtub every night, but then again I don't know if that would be gross.

I clean it once a week, but I put down a bathmat that just DS uses. He sits on that and I throw it in the laundry twice a week.

i have a brand new tub, that is rarely used except for the brief nighttime bath.  we spray it down after each bath, and we clean it with anywhere spray as needed.

sadly we don;t wash our tub as often as we should. i have a diney Cars rubber matt that i stick to the bottom so he doesn't slip but that is it.

I would recommend using something much gentler than comet, just b/c the chemicals can be irritating to children's skin. We just clean ours once a week. I don't put anything in the bathwater (bubbles or anything, just water) so it never gets very gross.

I clean it when it gets icky.  DS is the only one who uses that shower/bath tub, so it doesn't really get "dirty". I rinse it out with the shower head with hot water at the end of each bath to get any soap residue out.

Ditto, DS has his own bathroom, so he is the only one who uses his tub.  I just rinse it out after he bathes.  He also has a bathseat that he sits in, so he isnt sitting on the actual tub bottom.

I probably clean it once every 2 weeks, and I use vinegar and Dr Bronners soap. She is the only one who uses it anyhow and it doesn't get really dirty. I would not use any chemicals in her tub though! I really don't use them in ours either.?

Same here.  We use a bathmat in there, and after every bath I use the washcloth I used on ds and wipe down the walls real quick and turn the mat over so it's not sitting in water.  We just got a new one and the last one got mildewy really quicky so I'm hoping this helps.  And when I do clean the tub I use vinegar and/or magic eraser scrubby thing.

I clean it every week (well, maybe every 10 days) with Clorox Green Works. But I also use Clean Shower each morning after my shower. I always spray down the tub before she gets in it in the evening though.
