I bought the First Response Daily Ovulation Kit last month - it contains 20 test sticks and you are supposed to use one per day every day from the end of your period until you ovulate. They say you are not supposed to use them after 30 days from the date you opened them. I have 7 left. Do I really have to throw these away and go buy more or is this just a ploy to sell more kits?
Re: Do OPKs really expire in 30 days?
Im pretty sure its the air...... I mean its up to you but since its only 7 I would just toss em and get more its not like it 17 and you just opended them..... but its up to you.
I will toss them, just wondered if anyone knew why they expire so quickly or if it's just a way to get you to buy more tests. My cycle is about 29-30 days now. I have ovulated on days 19 and 17, but before the m/c, I ovulated around day 14. I think I can safely go back to the 7 day test and begin testing on day 12.
