Are you all eating any snacks or drinking milk in the middle of the night?
I usually have a small snack before bed and keep a glass of water on the nightstand, but that's it. Sometimes I feel like the babies might be starving by the time I wake up!
Anyway, a silly question, but still one that goes through my head! Just wondering what everyone else does. : )
Re: MoM's to be - night eating?
I eat a snack right before bed, and I keep various snacks at the bedside.
If I wake up, I am usually hungry, and if I get too hungry I get sick.
Peanut butter crackers and gatorade have been my thing lately. Last night I was extra hungry so I did cheese and crackers, then a bowl of cereal.

Yep, I'm a night eater too! I felt bad at first, but threw that to the wind when I couldn't sleep until I rolled outta bed and made something to hold me over till breakfast. It really makes a difference some nights.
Sometimes when I eat a snack right as I get into bed, I "luck out" and sleep through the night without a midnight feeding. However, that is not always the case. For the nights I do tiptoe into the kitchen, I try to make something light but substancial--small bowl of cereal, yogurt with fruit, trail mix, or whole wheat crackers and Babybel cheese cirlce. Eat whatever works best for you/ what you like!
Don't feel bad about eating at odd hours--just think of how it's helping your babies grow big and strong! (that's what I tell myself at least!)
Late first tri I was waking up really hungry for a couple weeks & generally stuck to a glass of chocolate milk or some warm milk w/ honey & vanilla...figured I'd boost my calcium intake & it would tide me over til morning. I made sure to eat something (usually ice cream ) before bed too & that helped.
It has come back recently (late 3rd tri) and I'm still sticking to the milk thing although I did eat a bowl of cereal the other day b/c I knew I wouldnt be able to fall back asleep for awhile.
GL!
