what do you use to get your whites, whiter?

I am soo anti-bleach.. but our whites are looking like they need some brightening... any ideas? :-)

OxiClean? Though I have to say that in order to actually get whites whiter, I have to SOAK clothes, not just add some OxiClean to the washer.
