So because the school hasn't provided her with leads she can't find a job? You have to wonder if someone like that has even tried to look for a job on her own. She most likely just assumed the job fairy would drop a 9-5 M-F, 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 figure salary in her lap.

These are the same people that used to come through the line at the coffee shop and get pissy if they had to wait more then 30 seconds. One of my employees actually asked one customer if the customer thought she was a Latte Fairy. She said" Do you think I just snap my fingers and the lattee appears?" OMG was it funny.
TOTALLY agree with everyone that this woman is out of line but....in the most minute defense of her case (or similar ones) these colleges promise 98% placement rate or "we promise you will graduate in 4 years" or other things that could end up being out of their control and so people go there with these huge expectations and when they're let down, then they get pissed, don't operate in reality and sue. Not saying they should but the colleges are not NOT NOT innocent in these cases either.
My 18 year old, very very entitled, brother starts college at Macalester this fall. They, apparently assign classes to incoming freshmen based on a "want list" the student supplies. My brother is enrolled in TOTAL BS classes that, I have a very hard time seeing how they will fulfill any general ed requirement. When I asked about it, he told me, "Well, they guarentee you'll graduate in 4 years so I don't really care, I'm just going to show up and they have to let me grad in 4 years"....ummm, no they don't but...whatever.
I'm not excusing ignorance or "not reading the fine print" at all. I think frivolous lawsuits like these hurt us all but I can see where and how they materialize....TOTALLY!

Any college that promises or guarantees those things needs to take a serious hard look at their legal department. None of that would EVER fly with any of the colleges/uni's for which I've worked.
