The first photo on the upper left was taken the day DH finished building the garden and planting the seeds and plants.
The squash on the lower left hand corner came from the garden and are about two times the size of my hand. To give you perspective, that is a normal-size orange sitting next to them. One of those squash fed my family for dinner (when combined with some pasta, butter, salt, pepper, and feta cheese).
i'm part of a group of girls on the pets board who are practicing their photography skills and we're giving each other weekly assignments...36 pictures of a chair was the first assignment. (the rest of the pics are in my blog in siggy)

lol, mine didn't! It was our first year trying out a garden and we got some tomatoes and strawberries off it....that was it. I think it was just way too hot sometimes. Oh well, I guess I could enter my twigs and dry mulch
Okay, I'm not going to lie, but these are some old pictures of my dahlias. We had to transplant the bulbs since there were sooooo many in that little planter. They were taking over. We tried to put them in pots and they are not so majestic. My parents got some bulbs to that they planted in the ground that are doing great. I'm planning on getting some bulbs back from them next spring. I will have my dahlias back, oh yes....I will have them back..
Re: ~Siggy Challenge Entry Thread~
This is W last weekend, picking radishes with his daddy. He loved picking them out of the soil!
