I felt something in week 17 but I wasn't sure what it was. I've been having what I can describe as little twitches/muscle spasms in week 18. I looked online and have found movement can feel like muscle spasms so for sure I felt something in week 18, and maybe week 17.

13 weeks, but that is very unusual. At that point, I was able to feel our little boy moving- just a rolling/fluttering sensation. Around 16 weeks, I felt the first kicks!
i never felt the "flutters".. the first movements i felt were along the same lines as what a muscle spasm feels like, which i assume was a kick/punch. i've felt them everyday since, along with other movements.
I'm fairly slender and don't have an anterior placenta or anything. I didn't feel my first movement/kick until 21 weeks. I never ever felt the flutters and gas bubble feelings. I felt one big roll - and have felt those same movements every day since! Some people just feel movement sooner than others!

I felt a one-off flutter at 14 weeks which subsequently launched me into a state of impatience until I felt anything again around week 17. They didn't become regular until week 19, and now I'm approaching week 22 with semi-regular kicks and jabs.
I think it's tough when you get all excited over the first flutter or movement and then don't feel anything for a while. But, to be fair...just because you don't feel it doesn't mean it's not happening. When school was still in session, I would go all day without feeling much because my students and lessons kept me so occupied. It wasn't until I was winding down at night afterwards that I would consciously notice anything.

I was 16, almost 17 weeks when I first felt LO. To me it felt like a popping, like popcorn or fireworks.
