So, tomorrow I go to the hospital to fill out all of the paperwork for pre-admission. My hospital has you do this so there is less to do when the time comes to deliver. It says there are 19 pages of paperwork to fill out and expect it to alst 45 minutes. DH doesnt have to go-that stinks!! Anyone else doing this?
Re: Pre-Registration Appointment
My hospital offers this. My Dr. releases their paperwork and sends it to the hospital when you preregister at 35 weeks.
A friend of my husband really recomends this, it saves a lot of headache when you get there in labor and the last thing you want to worry about is going through a stack of legalese.
Had to do this with DD and when I had my D&C at the same hospital. Pre-registration for procedures you know you will have is a great thing. Saves lots of time the day of.
But insurance just switched hospitals and I don't know what the policy is for the new hospital. I hope I can pre-register again.
