When do most babies sit up?

I know every baby is different but is it around 6 months?  My guys are pretty young based on their adjusted age so I don't want to be too disappointed if we aren't there for a while...just trying to get an idea.

6 months is average for sitting up unassisted.

Yes, I believe the "norm" is around 6 months.  Cal was able to sit on his own for a brief time at 6 months and has gradually gotten stronger and more solid since then.

DS started sitting and crawling (about a week apart) around 7 months.  By 10.5 he was walking unassisted

Ben sat up unassisted around 7 months and started crawling at 7.5 months.  He was walking at 11 months.

AW, I know, but DD just started sitting up in the past week.  She rolled early too and already seems interested in standing.  I'm a little worried about what this means for babyproofing the house!

G didn't sit up unassisted until he was 8mo old.
