I'm trying to decide how to prep most efficiently. I was planning to boil my unbleached prefolds, bamboo fitteds and kissaluv fitteds all together, then put them in the wash with my synthetic diapers. Does this sound about right?
It kind of depends on quantities. Assuming you have mostly natural fiber items to prep, I would boil and then run through a couple of wash/dry cycles separately. When I boiled, I felt that there was still oil left on them, so I wouldn't mix immediately. I just prep our covers and AIO by throwing them in with our normal laundry (we don't have many), but you could probably add to the final wash/dry load..

Re: Prepping questions
If any of them have snaps, don't boil them. You can ruin the snaps.
I'm not a huge fan of the boiling method, myself. I found it tedious and sweltering. 4-5 hot wash/hot dry cycles worked great for me.
