anyone make their own spray starch?

I've seen the recipes on line, and I'm ready to try - but wondering if anyone on here has experience/tips. I have a spray bottle with a fine spray (have been using Niagara non-aerosol starch) -- so can use that bottle now that it is gone -- would rather make my own!

i tried this but the cornstarch got all over the floor and left a powder all over the floor :-(
